Burn Rubber x Puma Stepper

Burn Rubber and Puma present their first collaboration together. The two brands have joined forces to bring you a limited edition Puma Stepper inspired by Michigan Central Station, the famed abandon train station located in Detroit's historic Corktown neighborhood.

Michigan Central Station was at one time the largest rail station in the world. In its hey day, it was the central hub for for passengers & cargo being imported & exported out of Detroit. With massive marble & stone fixtures and Terrazzo flooring, most can only imagine the beauty that it held. Since it's close in 1988, the building has been somewhat of an eye sore to residents & tourists alike. The building, which is dilapidated, eerie, & sort of a punchline to many, represents strength & resilience to Detroiters far & wide. This building has been through it all, and is still standing tall with hopes of one day restoring it back to its glory.

These shoes take design cues from the tones in the building's original concrete structure and the surrounding landscape. They have been created using premium materials and feature a milky rubber outsole.
